Manish Punjabi is the Asia Pacific Lead for Global Client Management & Strategy for BNY Mellon and a member of the bank’s Asia Pacific Leadership Council. Based in Singapore, he leads a team of client executives across Asia Pacific and sets the strategic direction of the bank’s engagement with clients. He partners with each business line to ensure BNY Mellon is positioned with clients as the preferred and trusted partner on their strategic priorities.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2021, Manish held positions spanning over 20 years with McKinsey & Company, Royal Bank of Scotland, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Ernst & Young across London, Hong Kong and Singapore. Manish has served financial services clients and institutional investors across Asia Pacific in delivering their strategic growth and business transformation agendas.
Manish brings a breadth of experience across corporate & investment banking, SME & consumer banking, corporate strategy, business transformation and client management. He has contributed to thought leadership on topics including the emergence of digital banking, transformations in APAC supply chain financing, and private asset tokenization in wealth management.
Manish is the Asia Pacific Chair of BNY Mellon’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. He holds a master’s degree in finance from London Business School, a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Imperial College London and is a CFA Charter holder.
