Our mission to connect also manifests in our employees’ volunteerism and various AT&T Believes programs. AT&T, in collaboration with The Asia Foundation and Visa, provided online workshops and self-paced learning modules to over 6,500 women-led micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across ASEAN from February to September 2022.
Our employees in Singapore and across the region cheered for the entrepreneurs and shared knowledge in marketing, cybersecurity, and other vital entrepreneurial and digital skills to accelerate business growth in the digital economy.
In particular, entrepreneurs who expressed confidence in their business skills and digital literacy jumped from 20% to 90% between pre- to post-surveys, reflecting a 70% improvement.
Reaching Singapore, as well as Cambodia, Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines, AT&T is supporting the STEM ConnectHER program by the Asia Foundation.
The network-of-networks initiative launched in October 2022 empowers early-in-career women in STEM through mentorship and networking opportunities.
Through panels and seminars, AT&T employees have shared insights into managing their professional networks in tech and retaining women in the STEM industry.
