Edwards Lifesciences Singapore (ELS) has actively supported various organizations below as part of CSR program:
1. SINGAPORE HEART FOUNDATION (SHF) ELS has collaborated with SHF on the annual event - Go Red For Women - to educate women about the dangers of cardiovascular diseases. The campaign for 2022 was launched in February with SHF merchandise sales & knowledge quiz for employees to participate. The campaign garnered an overwhelming response, with over 1,600 employees participating & collecting a total of $12,300 for SHF.
2. THE FOOD BANK SINGAPORE Founded in 2012, the food bank now “rescues” 800 tons of food annually for over 300 NGOs, through improved food supply chain interventions. ELS volunteered in support of the Food Bank Singapore in June 2022. The volunteers found the event so meaningful that they organized a fundraiser in Nov 2022 to collect from employees nearly $10,000 in cash donations.
3. AMCHAM SINGAPORE ELS has been an active partner of AmCham Singapore in annual events. In 2022, the AmCham Community Giving was held on 12 Nov in support of the NE Community Development Council & Tampines Changkat Constituency Office.
4. RUN FOR INCLUSION ELS supported the run for inclusion on 3 Dec 2022, alongside other runners with special needs as part of efforts to promote integration and nurture an inclusive Singapore. The event was graced by President Halimah Yacob & Ms Denise Phua. It was a chance for ELS volunteers to truly interact with the less fortunate.
