Operating responsibly is fundamental to MSD’s long-term success, our obligation to society, and to the health and wellbeing of patients globally.

We have been providing financial support and sharing the expertise of our employees with others through grants and volunteer programmes that address critical health and social needs.

In 2021, a grant of USD 50,000 was awarded to the Singapore Cancer Society to advance cancer education, awareness and prevention.

MSD Singapore is also glad to be making a difference to the wellbeing of seniors via RSVP Singapore in 2022 through this grant.

The monthly Smart Wellness Programme in the community has helped to raise awareness of vaccine-preventable diseases and promote preventive healthcare among our seniors. 365 Cancer Prevention Society also received a grant for its quarterly nutrition programme targeted at low-income families, as a preventive effort to enhance their wellbeing and reduce their risk of cancer.

MSD is also a corporate partner for the ‘Live the Life’ series, a joint effort by various agencies including AIC, IMDA and PA, that brings preventive health information through interactive health talks and carnivals to the heartlands. In 2023, MSD launched our corporate mentoring partnership with MENDAKI to mentor youth as part of their amPowered@ITE programme. Up to 100 diverse professionals from MSD will mentor and prepare youth to be ready for future employment.
