Fatimah Alsagoff is Director of Government Affairs and Corporate Communications Asia at Hasbro, a global play and entertainment company committed to making the world a better place for all children, fans, and families. Based in Singapore, she is responsible for shaping the policy and regulatory landscape collaboratively with governments; building strategic relationships based on impactful thought leadership and public-private partnerships; and mitigating risks in areas such as toy safety, sustainability, marketing to children, and ethical sourcing across the Asia Pacific region.
Fatimah brings over ten years of experience across the Asia Pacific region, advancing policy and regulatory priorities through thought leadership, issues management, and advocacy. Prior to her current role, Fatimah was Director of Public Affairs for UPS in Asia Pacific, leading a team of government affairs professionals covering North Asia and Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand regions on issues in trade facilitation, customs, transportation, aviation, and the empowerment of small businesses and women in trade. Before that, she worked at the US-ASEAN Business Council advocating on issues in customs & trade facilitation and health & life sciences, both bilaterally and with ASEAN working bodies to shape the policy environment and support the growth of U.S. companies in the region.
Fatimah began her career as a government relations consultant with Vriens & Partners, a Southeast Asia-focused corporate advisory firm, creating and managing regional thought leadership and stakeholder engagement platforms and engaging on behalf of clients with government, private sector, and civil society stakeholders across Southeast Asia. Fatimah graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Political Science.
