Joanne Flinn, held her first Board role at 23 transforming a $10 million loss-making community services organization to profit. This firmly grounded her in the practicalities of business and what is now ESG. She led Pricewaterhouse-Cooper’s Financial Services consulting practice in Thailand, specializing in change leadership for complex business challenges and then served as Head of Change for Digitalization on the IT Exco at DBS here in Singapore. Today, Joanne is the Chairwoman of the ESG Institute who provides practical pathways to Net Zero for business leaders who commit to transformation journey to delivery their sustainability goals profitably.
Behind the scenes of all this external success, she burned out three times. To restore herself, she turned to meditation and art and researched to find a better way to deliver results.
Co-founding the Change Leaders at the University of Oxford (2003) and the ESG Institute (2023), her most recent book is Greensight ~ The Sustainability Handbook for Company Directors.
In her personal life, Joanne is an artist who has exhibited at the Museum of Art and Design and internationally as Booth Aster.
She holds a Bachelors of Economics, a Bachelors of Laws, a post-graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment, and a Masters of Change Leadership (HEC).
