Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. Our portfolio of life-changing technologies spans the spectrum of healthcare, with leading businesses and products in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and branded generic medicines.
Our 114,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.
For us, a sustainable future starts with health. It’s the foundation for everything. It helps people thrive, makes communities strong, and fuels healthy societies. At Abbott “sustainability” means managing our company to deliver long-term impact for the people we serve –shaping the future of healthcare and helping the greatest number of people live better and healthier. We also believe that new ideas come from different places and points of view.
To achieve our ambitions, we’re actively shaping our organization for the future by prioritizing diversity and inclusion, advancing STEM education and internships, and empowering our teams with skills to meet the health needs of tomorrow.
In Singapore, a key focus of our sustainability effort is to promote STEM education for young people, especially for the underserved groups and gender diversity in Singapore. We aim to inspire the next generation of innovators and provide a pathway to a promising future for children, at every stage of their learning journey, in Singapore. To date, Abbott’s Singapore STEM signature programs have served over 2600 students in Singapore.
