In 2024, our organization strengthened its commitment to corporate social responsibility by partnering with NTUC Health Active Ageing Centres and Diabetes Singapore to enhance community well-being.
Key Initiatives and Impact:
Collaborative Programs with NTUC Health Active Ageing Centres: We co-developed and implemented engaging activities for seniors, focusing on physical health, mental stimulation, and social connectivity. These programs aimed to promote active lifestyles and prevent social isolation among the elderly.
Health Screenings and Educational Workshops with Diabetes Singapore: Recognizing the rising prevalence of diabetes, we collaborated with Diabetes Singapore to offer free health screenings and educational roadshows. These initiatives aimed to increase awareness, encourage early detection, and promote effective management of diabetes within the community. We also trained diabetes nurses as part of their routine work to counsel and educate patients on preventive care and vaccination.
Impact:
Through these partnerships, we have engaged with seniors, diabetes patients and their caregivers, providing them with resources and support to lead healthier lives. Our efforts contributed to increased health literacy, early detection of health issues, and a stronger sense of community among participants.
