In 2020, Otis launched its” Commitment to change,” framework. Under our Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) goals, we target to complete 500,000 volunteer hours by 2030.
 
Our CSR focus areas include: STEM, DE&I and Vibrant Communities.
1) STEM
• Made to Move Communities™ (MTMC): Eight students from ITE participated in the Student Challenge in 2022 and came in first in the Asia Pacific region.
• “Be a little Engineer” program: 13 employee volunteers held a session with 50 students at the Hearty Care Centre where they learned crucial safety tips and built their own model elevators.
• AWARE and United Women Singapore: Otis sponsored a full-day coding workshop for 15 female students aged 13 to 17 years old where they learned to create micro-sites on topics such as AI & technology.
 
2) DE&I:
• Otis started our collaboration with SG Enable in 2022 and pledged our support towards the President’s Challenge of enabling employment.
• RISE Mentorship – Offered 3 graduating students career transitioning guidance over a 16-week period.
•Career Coaching Program – Five students with disabilities from Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Singapore colleges were part of this program
 
3) Vibrant Communities
• Partnership with SPD (Serving People with Disabilities): Employee volunteers delivered care packs to close to 100 beneficiaries from 2021- 2023 and
volunteered at the elderly day care center.
• Volunteering at other beneficiaries such as Willing Hearts and Orange Valley Nursing Home
