Cognizant integrates technology and social impact to improve everyday life for people and the planet.

Cognizant’s Social Impact strategy is anchored by Synapse‑aligned skilling, strategic philanthropy, and employee‑driven volunteerism. With Synapse 2.0, Cognizant aims to train 2 million individuals globally by 2030 in AI skills, reinforcing its long‑term commitment to workforce readiness and responsible innovation.

In Singapore, Cognizant delivers inclusive AI and digital skilling for youths, women from low‑income backgrounds, seniors, and persons with disabilities. In 2025, the AI for Impact initiative—delivered in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson, MCCY Singapore Partnership Office for SG60, and IMDA Digital for Life—reached over 1,000 individuals, empowered 122 volunteers, and achieved a 98% AI fluency improvement rate. Cognizant also partnered with NVPC Project V and FaithActs to upskill seniors in simple AI prompt engineering, promoting confidence and digital inclusion.

In 2025, skilling grants were extended to Generation Singapore, United Women Singapore, and She Loves Data

Beyond skilling, Cognizant supports persons with disabilities through HWA, SPD, and SDSC, medical packing and befriending with NKF, career talks and learning journeys with MOE schools, and children from low‑income families through Filos. These efforts delivered 50+ community touchpoints in Singapore alone, combining technology, volunteering, and human‑centred impact.
