In 2025, Dow’s CSR programs centered on sustainability, underprivileged communities, and STEM, engaging over 160 employees for 470 volunteer hours and benefiting more than 1,200 people and the environment.

A new initiative has been introduced to supplement our continued efforts in building homes for villages in nearby Batam—providing individual households and a school with access to clean water. Launched last year, the project is progressing well. This April, Dow volunteers will collaborate with Habitat for Humanity on the local build. Once completed this year, these families and the school will gain direct access to clean water, boosting community health.

In collaboration with Yong-en Care Centre, Dow has embarked on a new initiative that complements existing efforts to tackle food insecurity. This programme supports the holistic development of 70 children from low-income families. In August, over 120 Dow employees participated in the company’s Charity Food Bazaar, collectively raising more than S$26,000 for this cause.

Our R&D team actively collaborates with students from higher education institutions on topics such as materials science, sustainability, and laboratory visits. These initiatives aim to inspire interest in careers within the chemical industry and to encourage the pursuit of innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

To help decrease plastic pollution, we've arranged clean-up events both on land and in waterways.
