At Gensler, our purpose is to create a better world through design. In Singapore, this is reflected through our Community Impact (CI) program, where our teams apply design thinking and professional expertise to support communities and nonprofit partners.
Our initiatives focus on youth empowerment, mental wellbeing, and inclusive communities. In collaboration with United Women Singapore and partners such as the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore, Gensler volunteers mentor students and lead design workshops that introduce young people to creative problem-solving and careers in the built environment.
Supporting mental health is another key area of focus. Through our partnership with the Singapore Association for Mental Health, Gensler has provided pro-bono design expertise to reimagine the SAMH Oasis Day Centre, while also organizing art workshops and exhibitions with SAMH artists. These initiatives use creativity and design to foster confidence, dignity, and community connection.
Together, these efforts are part of Gensler’s global Community Impact framework, which mobilizes employees to apply their skills to meaningful social challenges.
