Asim is Abbott’s Vice President, Nutrition, Asia Pacific. He was appointed to this role in September 2025. In this capacity, he leads strategic growth initiatives, commercial operations, and market expansion efforts for Abbott’s nutrition business across diverse and dynamic markets. Prior to assuming his current role, Asim was Divisional Vice President, Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Pakistan & CIS Established Pharmaceuticals.
Asim joined Abbott in 2015 as General Manager for Turkey where he played a pivotal role in driving business growth and operational excellence. Since then, he has progressed through a series of leadership roles, Regional Director for TR&CIS, Senior Director for Emerging markets for Commercial development and strategy.
Prior to Abbott, Asim served as General Manager at Omega Pharma, a Perrigo company, based in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Asim earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Bilkent University in 1998, and his Master of Business Administration from Yeditepe University in 2002.
