At bolttech, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is embedded in how we operate and grow. Guided by our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy, we focus on closing the global protection gap by making insurance and protection more accessible, affordable and relevant for underserved communities.
Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), our CSR efforts are delivered through our embedded protection model, integrating protection into everyday customer journeys across financial services, telecoms, retail, mobility and real estate.
Our initiatives include expanding access to protection in emerging markets to help individuals manage financial shocks; developing cyber protection solutions for vulnerable groups such as youth and the elderly; and promoting repair, refurbishment and responsible recycling through our device protection services to support a circular economy.
Community engagement is also central to our approach. In March 2026, nearly 60 employees participated in Project 1000 alongside endurance athlete Natalie Dau, raising AUD 64,000 for Cahaya Surya Bakti to support Rohingya refugee women and children. In addition, employees worldwide volunteered with local organisations to mark bolttech’s 5th anniversary, an initiative to be repeated in 2026.
