Boston Scientific believes in showing up for the communities in which we operate in meaningful, practical ways. Our CSR program responds to real needs with practical support, mobilizing employees and company resources through sustained partnerships with local charities.
Over the past five years, our Singapore team has volunteered 12,000 hours and, the company has contributed over $200,000 to create sustained impact. This commitment has been recognized externally through the NVPC Company of Good recognition in 2022 and again in 2025.
In 2025, for example, employees delivered hands-on initiatives including meal preparation, the donation of 280 adult diapers to 75 beneficiaries and menstrual care supplies to 400 girls, as well as school supplies for 340 children and care packages for 130 children’s home residents. Our employees also engaged beneficiaries through inclusive activities, from STEM workshops and baking sessions to art and team challenges, fostering confidence, skills and connection.
Our team has also scaled CSR initiatives originating in Singapore. Our Virtual Distance Challenge is now a region-wide initiative spearheaded by our regional president. Last year, 2,400 participants across APAC clocked 320,000km, raising funds for 23 local causes and demonstrating the power of regional collaboration rooted in local leadership.
