Executive Director, Sunray
Charles Tan is the second-generation Executive Director of Sunray. Since joining the family business upon college graduation, Charles has been involved in all facets of the Company's operation, starting with factory day-to-day functions, progressing to a management role. He has worked on a variety of iconic projects, and plays an instrumental role in spearheading Sunray’s innovation initiatives and entry into new markets while not losing homeground.
Even while achieving new heights in commercial activities, Charles never forgets his roots, looking to give back wherever possible to the organisation and community. He leads Sunray's ESG initiatives, and was integral in the Company's $7 million worth of social giving in the last 4 years. He also prioritises sustainability, with an emphasis on innovation and driving organisation mindset change.
Charles aims to push Sunray even further, transforming the homegrown brand into a global juggernaut.
