Through Cognizant Outreach, our employees share their time, talent and technology through volunteer work, to empower local communities and increase the use of technology for good. We actively seek collaborations with partners to support inclusion in tech and better support the community in-demand skillsets, widening the range of stakeholder to support our goal, given we are an organization that is product-agnostic.
Cognizant social impact programs support school students and teachers on STEM, youths and persons with disabilities to thrive in the tech and tech-enabled economy. We support non-profits to leverage technology to improve their impact footprint. Through these efforts, we were able to influence STEM Education in schools, career readiness among youths, improving employability of Persons with Disabilities and empowering non-profits with digital skills. The outcomes from the programs serve critical community needs delivering on the Social Purpose, while also enabling reputational and business outcomes for Cognizant.
