As part of the world’s largest law firm, corporate social responsibility is an integral aspect of Dentons Rodyk and our ability to support and contribute to communities around the globe is unmatched.

In 2021, we celebrated our historic 160th anniversary as Singapore’s first and oldest law firm. As part of our celebrations, a total of more than $120,000 was raised for the Singapore Association of Women Lawyers Scholarship Fund.

This fund seeks to reduce social disparities brought on by educational imbalance and (the lack of) access to education.

Besides charitable contributions, our firm takes on many pro-bono initiatives as well. These initiatives have positive social objectives such as furthering a particular public good, correcting a perceived injustice or otherwise addressing issues which are of a broad community concern.

The intended beneficiaries of our pro-bono work are often people who deserve public support such as the marginalised or disadvantaged.

To further our pro-bono efforts, Dentons Rodyk in 2022 launched a “Philanthropy and Non-Profits” practice group to help clients - who themselves have a charitable intention - to achieve those objectives.

We were also one of four law firms in Singapore to be named as a Champion of Good in 2022. Launched in 2017, this award is a national recognition framework that celebrates organisations that give back.
