DKSH Healthcare holds “Patient Purpose Day" every September in alignment with World Patient Safety Day as part of its commitment to improving patient outcomes.
The theme of 2025 “Equity in Women’s Health” reflected our focus on addressing disparities and empowering women through greater access to healthcare. The program encouraged employees to act as patient advocates and lead by example in DKSH’s efforts to champion greater patient well-being.
Through the efforts of our employees and partners across 12 markets, from providing health education and health check-ups to empowering women with health literacy, DKSH’s mission is to break the barrier, particularly for underserved women.
The campaign raised about USD 186,200 and impacted about 4,400 patients.
Key activities included:
Thailand: A charity run was organized, with proceeds funding cervical and breast cancer screenings for at least 1,000 women.
Vietnam: Free health check-ups focused on bone health were conducted to raise awareness of osteoporosis among middle-aged and menopausal women.
Singapore: A public talk on women’s health, free mobile screening for breast cancer and the Breast Cancer Foundation support group were held. The staff also joined the Pink Ribbon Walk.
Cambodia: Free breast cancer screenings were provided to patients from low-income families.
Through “Patient Purpose Day,” we not only support immediate healthcare needs, but we continue to create sustainable, community-driven impact.
