Every charitable act is a stepping stone towards heaven. In this spirit, Edwards Lifesciences (Singapore) and our employees foster a Total Wellness, Health and (Community) Outreach Program, and maintain active close relationships in community engagements with Care Corner Singapore, Children’s Cancer Foundation, Food Bank Singapore, Food From The Heart, Singapore Heart Foundation, Special Olympics Singapore and many other charitable organizations. In 2021, EW Singapore took part in 5 major community outreach and charitable events organized by our CSR-Committee, and the responses were overwhelming with every individual of our 1,800+ employees participating in at least one of these events.
One event that brought back fond memories was the AmCham Corporate Community Day (CCD) on 13th Nov 2021. EW Singapore sponsored 400 packs of brown rice as care pack item and 2 employee volunteers supported the packing and distribution of care packs to low-income families living in public rental flats in Jurong East.
With the economy faltering and many organizations tightening spend on CSR initiatives, Edwards Singapore through our humble charitable acts, hope to alleviate the hardships faced by the underserved and warm their hearts in these cold times.
