In 2018, EY Ripples, our global corporate responsibility program was launched with an ambition to positively impact one billion lives by 2030.
Our people use their skills, knowledge, and experience to bring positive change in three focus areas: supporting the next generation workforce, focused on developing mindsets and skills of those looking to enter or reenter the workforce; working with impact entrepreneurs, focused on helping businesses drive progress toward the UN SDGs; and accelerating environmental sustainability, focused on driving adoption of behaviors, technologies and business models to address climate issues.
In FY22, more than 91,000 EY people from 129 countries devoted their time on EY Ripples projects to impact 27 million lives.
We have positively impacted more than 81 million lives since 2018 and continue to make good progress toward our 1B lives ambition.
EY is also involved in non-skills-based volunteering and have annual flagship programs that mobilize our workforce at scale.
