Since 1973, FedEx has supported communities through FedEx Cares, our global community engagement program, empowering employees to connect people and possibilities. In Singapore, we partner with NGOs to foster volunteerism and meaningful contributions.
 
In 2024, 255+ FedEx volunteers contributed 415+ hours across six CSR activities:
 
1. Tree-Planting (Apr): 80 volunteers planted trees with The Arbor Day Foundation & Garden City Fund for World Arbor Day.
2. FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (JA ITC) Singapore (Apr–Jun): 369 learned global trade & entrepreneurship by developing market entry strategies for water conservation products in Australia from FedEx mentors.
3. Waterways Clean-up (Jun): Partnering with Waterways Watch Society, 46 team members collected 69 kg of litter at Kallang Riverside Park for World Ocean Day.
4. Mid-year Give Back (Jul): Volunteers prepared 115 Care Packages with essential items for Club Rainbow beneficiaries and their families.
5. FedEx/JA ITC APAC Finals (Aug): 60 students from 10 markets competed in Singapore, creating market entry plans for circular economy products in Turkey. FedEx volunteers mentored teams, helping refine strategies and pitches.
6. Purple Totes Program (Nov): Employees fulfilled 40 Christmas wishes for Club Rainbow beneficiaries and donated 59 books to support children’s learning.
 
Compared to 2023, we organized two more CSR activities, with a 94% increase in volunteers and a 49% increase in total volunteer hours.
