Kemin’s charitable ethics originated with our founders, R.W. and Mary Nelson; to align with our vision to improve the quality of life around the world, all Kemin’s CSR initiatives are centered around 4 key pillars:
• Science and general education
• Affordable housing and food security
• Sustainability
• Creation of vibrant communities

In 2024, Kemin Asia partnered with charity organizations for several CSR initiatives. These meaningful activities allow Kemin and our volunteers to connect with and support the community.
A few notable ones would include the following:

1.Food Distribution and Handicrafts with Elderlies
Kemin Singapore employees collaborated with the local welfare organization Montfort Care to teach the elderly handicrafts. Kemin volunteers were hands-on throughout the process, wheeling the elderlies from their homes and back and forth, packing/unloading/distributing the goodies bags with essential food items, making mosaic coasters with the elderlies, and cleaning up after the event.

2. ChariTrees
In conjunction with AmCham, Kemin Agrifoods Asia sponsored ChariTrees a Christmas tree for charity. ChariTrees 2024 supported four charitable causes – TCRL’s Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF), Samaritans of Singapore Limited (SOS), SPD, and Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF). The sponsored Christmas tree was displayed for the underserved to spread festive joy during the Christmas season.
