Kemin’s charitable ethics originated with our founders, R.W. and Mary Nelson; to align with our vision to improve the quality of life around the world, all Kemin’s CSR initiatives are centered around 4 key pillars:
• Science and general education • Affordable housing and food security
• Sustainability
• Creation of vibrant communities

Kemin believes that if we were to give a man a fish, we would feed him for a day, if we were to teach a man to fish, we would feed him for a lifetime.

This philosophy of giving is strongly reflected in the CSR projects that Kemin usually engages.

2022 was indeed a very challenging year as like many organizations we were confronted with high inflationary pressures and supply chain disruptions.

Despite of this, the organization continue to fulfil our obligations to support the community.

The latest project would be Kemin’s collaboration with a key business partner in our operating market, Indonesia.

Kemin had collaborated with our key distributor and their partners in Indonesia to build a school in rural area.

This was an effort to provide children staying in rural areas with more access to better school facilities. It is important that we collaborate with key business partners as much as possible.

This type of collaboration is important to help us strengthen relationships with our business partners and is a sustainable way for both growing the business and our CSR efforts.
