Susanna Hasenoehrl is SAP’s Head of Sustainability in Asia Pacific and Japan.

Susanna has more than 20 years of experience in sustainability and technology across Asian and global markets. She is presently focused on using technology and data to drive sustainability outcomes for SAP’s customers across 25 industries in pursuit of zero emissions, zero waste, and zero inequality. In particular, she is focused on transactional carbon accounting, blockchain-based traceability, and integrating supply chain sustainability data into organisational decision-making, as well as further ESG and EHS solutions.

Prior to joining SAP, Susanna was Asia & Africa Sustainability Lead at Yara International, a globally leading agricultural company. As a member of Yara’s strategy team she contributed to the establishment of Agoro Alliance, a new organisation dedicated to agricultural carbon removal. Susanna has also founded and held leadership positions at international health-tech and digital media start-ups: she led the development and commercialisation of the world’s first advertising funded mobile network operator, an evidence-based nutrition search engine and the world’s largest migraine patient and analytics platform’s partnership with Novartis.

Earlier in her career, Susanna worked in global and APAC-wide sales leadership and business development roles at Nokia and Siemens. Based in Singapore for over a decade, Susanna holds an MBA in International Business from Leopold- Franzens Universität in Innsbruck, Austria. An experienced international keynote speaker, Susanna is an accredited ‘Climate Reality Leader’ as part of former US Vice President Al Gore’s global initiative.
