Volt Singapore’s Brian Hardiman along with Worley’s Lisa Mulligan (Group Director of D&I) are hosting the first in a series of Webinars covering the major topics impacting on the Diversity & Inclusion agenda for corporates in Asia.
The first session features the regional D&I leaders from Facebook and Microsoft as guest speakers who will be sharing their experiences of how the events of 2020, particularly the Black Lives Matter movement, have changed the D&I conversation here in Asia.
Description
How have the cultural events of 2020 impacted the D&I agenda in Asia?
Black Lives Matter, founded in 2013 gained international media attention this year with the death of George Floyd during a police arrest in May. As a result race relations and diversity & inclusion are once again major talking points for international companies but how has the BLM movement changed the conversation here in Asia?
How can HR and D&I Leaders make a meaningful impact on bias or even racism in their own organization across our multi-ethnic and diverse region?
What can we all do to ensure a more inclusive 2021?
