Deborah Nga is the group director for public affairs at Sea Limited (NYSE:SE) which is a global internet company founded in Singapore in 2009. Sea operates three core businesses across digital entertainment, e-commerce and financial services, known as Garena, Shopee and SeaMoney respectively. Prior to this, she held regional roles in BowerGroupAsia, Google and Uber in Singapore and Washington DC. She started her career in the Singapore civil service.

Rob Schimek is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of bolttech. He leads the bolttech team across our operations globally, spanning more than 35 markets across 4 continents. With more than 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Rob has previously held senior leadership roles in insurance, including Managing Director & Group Chief Operating Officer for FWD Group, President and CEO of AIG’s commercial insurance businesses worldwide and Chief Executive Officer of the Americas for AIG.

Prior to that, Rob served as President and Chief Executive Officer of EMEA for AIG and was the Chief Financial Officer of AIG’s global property and casualty insurance business. Rob was also a partner at Deloitte & Touche L.L.P. where, for 18 years, he used his public accounting experience to serve global financial institution clients, including MetLife, The Prudential Insurance Company of America, and Merrill Lynch.

Rob is a C.P.A. He earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds an undergraduate degree from Rider University in New Jersey. Outside of work, Rob can be found in the gym or competing in some of the world’s toughest endurance competitions such as the Ironman World Championships, and the Antarctic Ice Marathon.

Ravi Alfreds is the Regional Director for Government Relations for RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company. In that capacity, he acts as the strategic interface with government customers. Prior to joining RTX, Ravi was the Head of Government Relations and Public Affairs at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, an environmental non-profit headquartered in Singapore, and performed a similar role with the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. Ravi served in the Singapore Foreign Service for 10 years, rising to be Deputy Chief of Mission of the Singapore Embassy in the United Arab Emirates.

At headquarters, he handled various issues of bilateral and multilateral concern, serving in the Americas, International Economics, Middle East and North Africa, and International Organizations directorates. He has represented Singapore in various international fora such as APEC, G20, IAEA, IRENA and other UN fora across the course of his career. Ravi has a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs of the George Washington University, where he was awarded the GW Alumni Association Award on graduation. He also has a Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies from the Elliott School.

Professionally, Ravi is one of 60 inaugural Singapore Leaders Network (SGLN) fellows, a fellowship designed to groom senior Singaporean business leaders supported by the Economic Development Board of Singapore. He is also the Honorary Assistant Secretary of Singapore’s oldest school alumni association and a member of the board for his alma mater.

Prior to relocating to Singapore and founding WATT AI Pte Ltd, Brady Luo was the Founder, Chairman, and Head of R&D at Hangzhou Yulian (Vastchain) Technology Co. Ltd. He led a team of 50 engineers in developing high-performance models for AI training and managing R&D activities for AIGC applications.

His educational background includes a part-time PhD candidacy (2022-2026) in Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science at Zhejiang University, a university ranked 3rd in China with a high entrepreneurial rate similar to Stanford University in the United States.

Previously, he obtained a Master's Degree in Finance from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This diverse educational foundation supports his expertise in both technical and financial aspects of business operations.

Courtney Lutterman is the Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region for Autodesk. Based in Singapore, she is responsible for driving the company’s public policy engagement strategy and advancing positions in priority APJ markets that enable customers to design and make a better world. In her role, she represents Autodesk with government entities and trade associations in order to advance the company’s advocacy priorities, drive thought leadership, and support its public sector sales strategy.

Previously, Courtney held key regional government affairs and regulatory affairs roles at UPS, as well as leadership roles in the company’s business risk & compliance, diversity & inclusion, and women’s leadership development committees. She was also Co-Chair for the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore’s Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics committee. Her early career roles include trade and investment promotion with the government of Singapore and international trade advisory with Ernest & Young.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Courtney holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD (France/Singapore) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago (United States).

Phoram Mehta is the CISO for PayPal's International Markets. A seasoned professional and technical leader with around 25 years of experience in Information Security. Mr. Mehta has been instrumental in building secure technology solutions for multiple companies across a spectrum of sectors including financial services, healthcare, telecommunication, and government in North America and Asia-Pacific regions.

Mr. Mehta has served on community organization boards of Washington DC based Cyber Risk Institute, ISACA Singapore as chapter President, ISSA Silicon Valley and advises cybersecurity startups in Singapore, India and US. Mr. Mehta is an active participant in Cybersecurity forums across Asia-Pacific and North America and has authored various research papers, articles and made thought leadership contribution in Cybersecurity policy, best practices, and emerging risk in Asia-Pacific.

Mr. Mehta has a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science with Specialization in Security, has been recognized as a Distinguished Scholar in the Stanford University Graduate School of Business LEAD Executive Education program. He holds various certifications like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, ISO27001: LA, and more. During his 10 years on the board of ISACA Singapore, the membership grew by more than 100% and his various education, community engagement and ecosystem contribution was rewarded with ISACA Chapter Leader Award for 2022.

Human Capital Conference

The Human Capital Conference focuses on the challenges and opportunities in developing talent for tomorrow within the changing human capital landscape across the region.

In Singapore, our CSR programs have a strong focus on mental well-being, STEM education, and children and elderly welfare. In 2023, 357 of our employees contributed 3,594 volunteer hours in activities including:

– WiSTEM2D SG Youth Pillar – Collaborating with Junior Achievement, J&J volunteers engage girls aged 5 to 18 in activities focused on science, technology, engineering, mathematics, manufacturing, and design. In 2023, through 13 activities held in 5 schools, more than 2,000 youths were inspired to pursue STEM studies and careers.

– Bridge to Employment – Partnering with Trybe and Jurongville Secondary School to introduce students to an array of careers in healthcare, J&J and Trybe volunteers engaged with students in wellbeing and career-building activities. In total, the program benefited 45 students.

– St Luke’s ElderCare – J&J volunteers engage and support elderlies under St Luke’s care. In 2023, 30 volunteers spent meaningful time and engaged with 500 seniors at SLEC centers.

– Dementia Singapore – About 30 J&J volunteers visited Dementia Singapore’s care centers to spend time with individuals with dementia.

– Holiday Toy Drive – J&J employees collected 135 toys for children under the care of Canossaville Children & Community Services. They delivered the toys in person and spent time with the children.

Since 2013, Sing’theatre has brought music to hospitals, impacting thousands of lives. Our current CSR program, “365 Hours of Music,” targets underserved communities with limited access to music through two avenues:

1) Concerts in public hospital lobbies or wards:

Performances are held at KK Hospital (KKH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), Sengkang Community Hospital (SKCH), National University Hospital (NUH), and Outram Community Hospital (OCH). We offer lobby and ward concerts to ensure everyone, including patients, caretakers, and staff, can enjoy music. Lunchtime concerts are held in healthcare institution atriums, open to the public and outpatient patients. Ward visits bring live music to patients’ bedsides.

At SGH, we also organise an annual event called Musicfest since 2013 where we bring music to everywhere around SGH and all day long on one special day.

2) Weekly singing classes for foreign domestic helpers:

These classes empower participants with music and provide a platform for them to share their talents. At the end of sessions, we organize concerts featuring the participants.

SHEIN’s social and sustainability strategy –evoluSHEIN– comprises 3 pillars: Equitable Empowerment (People); Collective Resilience (Planet) and Waste-Less Innovation (Process). Under the People pillar, which focuses on uplifting stakeholders across SHEIN’s ecosystem, we announced US$155 million over 5 years towards initiatives that support independent designers, manufacturing suppliers, women, youth, and the underprivileged.

Examples include:

-The SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program helps designers, artists, and brands scale their businesses by leveraging SHEIN’s platform to reach customers worldwide. 4,600 artists and designers from over 20 countries have launched SHEIN X collections, including Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts students mentored by SHEIN.

-Through our Supplier Community Empowerment Program (SCEP), we implement long-term initiatives to support our suppliers with facility enhancements and upskilling opportunities. In 2023, SHEIN funded facility upgrades at over 160 supplier factories and conducted 620 sessions to provide skills training for supply chain workers.

-In 2023, SHEIN renewed its partnership with SG Her Empowerment with a S$275,000 donation and announced new partnerships to advance educational opportunities for youth from underprivileged backgrounds: 1) S$5 million endowment funding to University of the Arts Singapore; 2) S$1 million donation to SUTD; 3) S$400,000 donation to Access Singapore. The PwC Singapore Foundation aims to build a positive impact in our communities through our 3 key causes – education, elderly and disability inclusion.

We brought together our diverse community of solvers to deliver sustained impact through collaborations with various community partners. In 2023, we established regular volunteering programmes with different communities like persons with disabilities from YCMA of Singapore, and was one of the corporate volunteerism partners in “Project V”- a national pilot co-led by the MCCY, NVPC and NCSS. Our people also shared their skills, time and resources to uplift the community through youth mentorship programmes with SINDA and MENDAKI, digital upskilling workshops for Red Cross Singapore and more. Furthermore, we introduced the PwC Singapore Foundation grant to encourage staff to bring along their clients on our giving journey. In line with our Net Zero commitment, we also celebrated a firmwide Ecological Week through beach clean-up and eco workshops by social enterprises that reduced waste.

In total, we have engaged over 709 of our people to make a difference in the community, contributing over 10,706 hours and reaching 10 times more beneficiaries than previous years. 40% of our leaders also share their expertise with the social sector by sitting in more than 110 social organisations, schools and non-governmental organisations boards.

In June 2023, UPS partnered with the Singapore Business Federation to launch the Green Exporters Program Singapore, which has trained over 70 local businesses to accelerate their green transition, incorporate sustainability in their supply chains, and boost their market access for sustainable products. UPS also provides funding to non-profit organizations in Singapore like Samaritans of Singapore, Metta Welfare Association, and Green Freight Asia to support mental health, special needs, and environmental programs.

2) Students in geron-preneurship course participated in AmCham, Singapore Health Awareness Festival Oct 2023.

3) The most important is the SDPDCI project initiated by A/P Ha (Head of programme). SDPDCI is the acronym of Social responsibility/Sustainability, Digital economy, Practical, Design thinking, Contemporary and Interdisciplinary elements. The project integrates CSR/sustainability in the digital economy, utilising design thinking to address current CSR challenges via interdisciplinary lenses to create long-lasting social impacts. It educates stakeholders to include CSR and sustainability topics in the materials, assessments and delivery. As a result, almost all Business courses cover CSR topics. Due to the nature of the project, its outcomes cannot be quantified in the same way that a CSR initiative’s impact (e.g., charity projects) is measured. The project focuses on education and capacity building, which has much longer-term impact on stakeholders’ mindset/attitude. However, thousands of FT, PT and CET learners have benefited from taken courses with CSR related topics. Graduates, who are future business leaders/professionals, may develop stronger commitments to integrate CSR into their tasks, and potentially lead to more sustainable business decisions. They can act as change agents to influence others to adopt more CSR practices.

Amgen’s approach to CSR starts with our mission to serve patients. Guided by four strategic pillars of our ESG framework, these include strengthening STEM education, inspiring the next generation of scientists, expanding access to our medicines and supporting efforts to strengthen healthcare systems to better serve patients in need worldwide.

Seagate Singapore rolls out a range of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives each year, creating widespread impact on different segments of society. Four overarching themes underpin Seagate’s CSR efforts – Helping Those in Need, Wellness, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Awareness, and Environment.

In 2023, Seagate Singapore collaborated with non-profit partners in various CSR initiatives, impacting over a hundred beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds – Earth Day Celebration: Hydroponics Plant workshop with AWWA; Food Collection Drive for Lions Home for the Elders (LHE); Learning Journey with Children’s Aid Society (CAS); and our unique quarterly vegetable donation to Blossom Seeds Limited (BSL).

Salesforce has been committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Stakeholder Capitalism for 25 years, believing business is a powerful platform for change.

Its 1-1-1 philanthropic model pledges 1% of equity, time, and products to society, resulting in $700 million in grants, 8.7 million volunteer hours, and extending the philanthropic efforts to 56,000 nonprofits utilising Salesforce. This model has inspired 18,000 companies to pledge 1% of resources to philanthropy.

Salesforce co-founded 1t.org, aiming to restore, conserve, and grow 1 trillion trees by 2030. So far, it has funded over 44 million trees, nearly halfway to its 100 million tree goal.

In Southeast Asia, Salesforce supports renewable energy and a solar microgrid project in Borneo, Malaysia, providing power to rural areas where 72% lack electricity.

Salesforce’s CSR achievements underscore its unwavering commitment to driving positive change in society and the environment. Salesforce is dedicated to making its belief in business as the greatest platform for change a reality.

SCS Return To Work (RTW) is a joint program with Roche that helps cancer survivors assess their readiness for reemployment, rehabilitate them to the demands of vocational roles, and find jobs.

A 2020 Roche patient forum identified reemployment as a key issue with more cancer survivors. We thus provided a 3-year grant of SGD225,0000 to SCS to revive and expand their dormant RTW program with support from Roche’s HR and PR teams.

The team has since completed Phase 1 by kickstarting the core program and recruiting initial cohorts of patients.

Key milestones achieved over the past 3 years include:

– Enhanced capability in SCS to support physical & psychosocial rehabilitation for eligible survivors keen on returning to work

– Ran a successful publicity campaign for patient recruitment and awareness of reemployment needs

– Enrolled 96 survivors with at least 83% successfully returning to work

– Conducted 5 RTW workshops, covering (i) employment legal support and rights, (ii) job research and resume writing (iii) group coaching

– Conducted post-program survey showing 85% gain/retention of perceived work ability (N=47), 64% gain/retention of readiness to work (N=36), and 92% satisfaction score (N=31)

– Multi-stakeholder development of Cancer Inclusive Guide to support future implementation

In upcoming phases, we aim to grow a network of cancer-inclusive companies and develop SCS’s in-house consulting capability to guide companies through the process of becoming a cancer-inclusive employer.

In an increasingly divided world, recognising the value of diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion has contributed to PayPal’s position as a leading employer globally and in Singapore.

In 2023, PayPal employees in Singapore dedicated more than 3,600 hours volunteering in their local communities to meet local community needs like hunger. For example, as part of ongoing support for The Food Bank Singapore, our employees volunteer for their warehouse sorting program and food donation program through donation drop-off boxes at pantries across our International Headquarters. Last year, employees also participated in a fundraising event, raising more than S$7,000 through the sale of baked goods, special drinks, and local culinary delights.

We adopt a decentralised approach that multiplies the impact of our giving initiatives by making an impact where it matters – in the communities we work, play and stay in. Since 2019, more than US$420,000 in funds, including donations, matching gifts, grants, and in-kind donations, have been contributed to organizations to deepen our impact in Singapore.

Across all of our strategies, we focus on creating economic opportunity for all. We measure success by leveraging key evidence-based indicators and outcomes, which enables us to measure our collective impact.

In 2020, Otis launched its” Commitment to change,” framework. Under our Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) goals, we target to complete 500,000 volunteer hours by 2030.

Our CSR focus areas include: STEM, DE&I and Vibrant Communities.

1) STEM

• Made to Move Communities™ (MTMC): Eight students from ITE participated in the Student Challenge in 2022 and came in first in the Asia Pacific region.

• “Be a little Engineer” program: 13 employee volunteers held a session with 50 students at the Hearty Care Centre where they learned crucial safety tips and built their own model elevators.

• AWARE and United Women Singapore: Otis sponsored a full-day coding workshop for 15 female students aged 13 to 17 years old where they learned to create micro-sites on topics such as AI & technology.

2) DE&I:

• Otis started our collaboration with SG Enable in 2022 and pledged our support towards the President’s Challenge of enabling employment.

• RISE Mentorship – Offered 3 graduating students career transitioning guidance over a 16-week period.

•Career Coaching Program – Five students with disabilities from Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Singapore colleges were part of this program

3) Vibrant Communities

• Partnership with SPD (Serving People with Disabilities): Employee volunteers delivered care packs to close to 100 beneficiaries from 2021- 2023 and

volunteered at the elderly day care center.

• Volunteering at other beneficiaries such as Willing Hearts and Orange Valley Nursing Home

NielsenIQ (NIQ) has an Inclusion Impact Team that’s mission is to drive positive impact where we work and where we live. In 2023, we drove over 100 initiatives in Singapore to coincide with our 100th birthday.

We have partnered with organizations and causes such as Daughters of Tomorrow, NKF, Causes for Animals, Autism Resource Centre, National Heritage Board, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Her Rise Above, Don8uri, Child at Street 11, Food Bank, K9 Assistance, Filos, SHINE, Dementia Singapore and more! We have donated our time, money and skills to help these causes and to give back to our community in Singapore.

Oracle’s mission is to help people see data in new ways, discover insights, and unlock endless possibilities. We are committed to being at the forefront of environmental and social impact.

Philanthropically, nonprofit organizations are funded by Oracle’s donation matching program. In our last townhall, Singapore employees donated US$5,832, to the Singapore Disability Sports Council, exceeding the target of US$5,000. Oracle Giving matched the same amount.

In 2023, 454 employees participated in 36 community projects with 8 non-profit organisations cumulating to 1,349 hours. Three key partnerships were with Halogen on their Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Programme, activating youths from underprivileged communities, IMDA on raising digital literacy for vulnerable segments; and Heartware on developing youth leaders in community engagement and soft skills. Oracle Academy offers free teaching and learning resources to educators to help prepare students for successful careers in the tech sector. We are in collaboration with 14 IHLs in Singapore for over 15 years.

Culturally, Oracle believes in taking care of employees’ wellbeing. Since 2021, 617 managers and 700 employees have gone through our APAC Mental Health Program.

Environmentally, we are committed to power all operations, including Oracle Cloud, with 100 percent renewable energy by 2025 and to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Locally, over 145 employees have participated in park cleanups and a tree planting campaign.

In Singapore, our Employee Resource Groups are ground-up initiatives led by like-minded employees across various departments. They unite all our Singapore-based employees, driving year-round initiatives that build engagement, excitement and give back to the community. More than 20 initiatives were organized by these ERGs last year. The CARES (Children, Animals, Recycling, Education, and Seniors) Committee helps drive volunteering and CSR related activites.

Year-round volunteering activities and community-impact initiatives include:

-Matched Giving: Medtronic matches employee donations dollar for dollar, up to US$5,000.

-Volunteer Grants: When employees record their volunteer hours for beneficiaries, they earn $200 dollars for every 10 hours.

-Project 6: Tenet 6 of our Medtronic Mission states “Maintain good citizenship as a company”. In alignment to Tenet 6, June is known as Project 6 month, where employees worldwide participate in volunteering activities. In 2023, 160 Singapore volunteers spent more than 300 hours to support 8 beneficiaries through 25 activities – including delivering >1000 snacks to pediatric outpatients, and cleaned up beaches and animal shelters.

-Mass meal packing: In 2023, more than 120 employees got together to pack 30,000 meal packs in 1.5 hours. In partnership with Rise Against Hunger (an international humanitarian organization), Singapore employee volunteers packed nutritious meal packs that were provided to NGOs such as Willing Hearts.

Beyond merely encouraging participation in CSR activities, employees are empowered to lead initiatives addressing food insecurity, promoting education, advancing climate and sustainability efforts, and alleviating poverty.

Volunteers from our organization actively engage in initiatives aimed at combating food insecurity within our community by assisting in groceries packing at Food from the Heart, meal preparation at Soup Kitchen by Willing Hearts, and meal distribution with Thye Hwa Kwan.

Our volunteers collaborate with organizations such as Curious Thoughts and Junior Achievement to deliver impactful lessons and impart knowledge to students. By equipping them with essential skills and fostering a love for learning, we aim to provide students with the foundation they need to succeed and thrive in the future.

Every May, our volunteers come together to clean up the coastal lines of Singapore. By taking action to preserve our natural resources, we contribute to building a more resilient and sustainable future for our community and planet.

In 2023, two groups of volunteers journeyed to Cambodia, partnering with organizations like Mercy Ministry Foundation and Cambodia Care Centre. They conducted teaching sessions, implemented infrastructure enhancements, and distributed essential supplies to support education and community development. By extending our reach beyond borders, we aim to empower communities and foster sustainable development globally.

Purple Parade (2013 – now): We’ve participated in the Purple Parade, which celebrates the talents of individuals with special needs since its inception in 2013.

thepridepass.com: To connect LGBTQ+ talent to employers where they feel accepted, we created a job portal which collates job advertisements from participating progressive companies.

United Women Singapore: We’ve worked with United Women Singapore on several occasions to support their initiatives over the years, from fundraising to volunteering at their events.

MINDS Donation Drive: we also conduct yearly donation drives where the proceeds go to fund MINDS’ activities.

The KLA Foundation is the charitable arm of KLA and is committed to advancing humanity by investing in our communities to create a more equitable, inclusive and accessible world.

The KLA Foundation provides support in three priority areas:

• Education – Helping to create opportunities and increase long-term access to educational resources. Supporting girls and underrepresented communities throughout their unique educational journeys, especially in STEM fields.

• Wellness – Promoting community wellness programs and partnering with grassroots organizations dedicated to achieving health equity.

• Community Enrichment – Nurturing strategic partnerships with organizations that deeply understand their community’s needs to support grassroots efforts and encourage positive long-term change.

Across these three pillars, and at the forefront of all we do at the KLA Foundation, we prioritize equity, access and inclusion. The KLA Foundation strategically partners with organizations that know their communities best to create upstream solutions for sustainable change and empower our employees to get involved in causes that are close to their hearts.

KKR female colleagues in the Singapore Office volunteered in a series of educational events organized by Inspiring Girls Singapore from May to November 2023, where they served as “Role Model Speakers” to primary school girls at different educational institutions in Singapore. The purpose of “Role Model Speakers” is to share with young school children stories of resilience, by recounting the speaker’s own experiences when faced with adversities and thereby inspiring these young ladies that they are able to overcome challenges and build the confidence to achieve aspirational goals.

Inspiring Girls Singapore conducts pre-event and post-event surveys to measure the extent of our impact on the girls who participated in our volunteering sessions. These reports provide insights into the outcomes and changes experienced by the participants in four different areas: (1) Happiness Level, (2) Desirability of Role Models, (3) Confidence Level, (4) Mindset Shift.

Working with young children especially resonated with KKR female employees because impressions made at a young age can have life changing impacts in the future.

A key part of KKR’s culture is sharing and collaboration, we see this as an extension of what AmCham Singapore is encouraging via the AmCham Cares program. By giving young girls that “lightbulb moment”, KKR hopes to level the playing field and instill in girls the confidence that they are able to achieve their dreams.

Junior Achievement (JA) Singapore (www.ja.org.sg) is a member of JA Worldwide, one of the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through JA, young people are equipped with the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.

Since January 2008, JA Singapore has educated over 256,200 students from Kindergarten to University on work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy through hands-on activities. In partnership with businesses and educators, JA Singapore brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential.

In 2023, JA Singapore partnered with over 2,100 corporate and individual volunteers to actively give back to their communities by empowering and educating 23,548 youths with financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work-readiness skills. In particular to youth empowerment, about 120 JA staff and volunteers contributed over 695 hours to empower and educate 797 underserved youths in non-profit organisations such as Children’s Wishing Well, Life Community Services Society, Chinese Development Assistance Council, Salvation Army Gracehaven, Muhammidiyah Welfare Home, NorthLight School, Spectra Academy, Morning Star Community, and AIDHA.

JPMorgan Chase is committed to operating a healthy and vibrant company that plays a leading role in advancing a sustainable and inclusive economy. As a global financial institution, we work to apply our unique expertise, insights, and resources to help address economic and societal challenges facing our clients, employees, and communities.

In Singapore, we’ve continued our support for the program Career Connect in partnership with the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Through design challenge workshops and career exploration activities, Ministry of Education-identified female secondary school students are provided with information about career pathways and employment opportunities in sectors that draw on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills. Leveraging the talent and expertise of our own JPMorgan Chase employees, volunteers also participate in mentoring activities to share their insights and help increase students’ knowledge and work-ready skills necessary to succeed in STEM careers.

In 2023 and in collaboration with 33 organizations, over 1,650 JPMorgan Chase employees rendered over 13,500 volunteer hours helping in activities such as meal packing and delivery as well as beach and animal shelter cleanups.

Dow employees continued to reach out to the community and engaged in activities benefiting the environment. In 2023, more than 200 beneficiaries were impacted across 10 events. 250 Dow volunteers & partners clocked 900 volunteer hours. Key highlights below,

• Partnered Daughters of Tomorrow to upskill low-income women, readying them for the workforce. Several months were spent curating an IT program which concluded with a week-long training in April. Today, most of these women has found a job.

• Dow’s #PullingOurWeight litter picking program diverted more than 200kg of waste from the environment. Organized once on land and another out at sea, this signature program promotes the value of waste/ plastic waste and influence a mindset change on social responsibility.

• Focused on low-income families and dementia elderly living in Chinatown area, Dow collaborated with Yong-en Care Center on various activities including food packing & distribution and music therapy for dementia elderly. An internal fund raising was also organized to equip their new Youth Center.

• Volunteers returned to 1-room flats to help rejuvenate living conditions of low-income families. This partnership with Habitat for Humanity was stalled during the pandemic. The overseas house build in neighbouring Indonesia was also reinstated. Volunteers built two houses for two families needing a shelter over their heads.

• We worked with institutes of higher learning to enable students to seek solutions for today’s problems.

The CSR initiatives that Dentons Rodyk decides to take on will have to meet the following values:

(i) it should have a positive social objective such as furthering a particular public good, correcting a perceived injustice or otherwise addressing issues which are of a broad community concern; and

(ii) the intended beneficiary should be a person or class of persons who otherwise deserve public support such as the marginalised or disadvantaged.

We were also one of four law firms in Singapore to be named as a Champion of Good in 2022. Launched in 2017, this award is a national recognition framework that celebrates organisations that give back. This list commends companies that have done good in the past year amid the pandemic and being multipliers by galvanising and collaborating with strategic partners, stakeholders, and non-profit organisations.

In 2023, Dentons Rodyk was presented with a Certificate of Distinction by the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore).

In 2022 and 2023, we were named as Singapore’s best by The Straits Times and Statista for the charities, not-for-profit associations and pro bono category in the Singapore’s Best Law Firms 2024 survey.

The firm was also presented with the MinLaw Legal Aid Bureau Outstanding Contribution Award in 2023, in recognition of our contributions to the Bureau’s work.

In 2023, we partnered with the Northwest Community Development Council (NWCDC) to identify meaningful support for the less privileged in the community. We supported the NWCDC Student Support Fund which aims to provide upstream education and developmental programs to increase social mobility of less privileged students. With DigiReady@North West, we donated used laptops and new accessories to support vulnerable residents to enable digital readiness. We also supported Exam ready @ Woodlands by procuring snacks and stationary care packs to provide motivational support for students taking their Primary School Leaving Examination.

We joined OCBC Cycle 2023 and during the 20km ride, participants raised $8,000 for SportCares and NWCDC.

While promoting cycling for fitness, the Corning team encouraged participants and employees to make sustainability related pledges as well. Corning employees committed to decrease their carbon footprints by cycling to work once a week and propagating potted plants to create a greener environment. These commitments highlight continued contributions by the Singapore team for Sustainability Week efforts across Corning.

In addition to that, we helped refurbishing “Joy Room”, a library area at Haven, facility built by Salvation Army for children who are under risked family. The team spent an afternoon cleaning, re-arranging the books and assembling new furniture, donation of the company and employees.

At HPE, our purpose is to advance the way people live and work. We believe that, together, we can be a force for good.Our strategy is designed to facilitate positive change by aligning community needs with the values of our team members.

We have identified three areas where HPE can make a meaningful contribution: 1) Healthcare, 2) Community Resiliency, and 3) DEI and Human Rights.

Within these areas, we aim to leverage our technology, talent, and resources to accelerate innovation, extend the benefits of the digital economy to individuals and communities, and promote a more just society.

Launched in 2016, HPE Gives is our global employee giving and volunteering program. Through our Volunteer Time Off initiative, two-tier volunteer matching, donation matching, employee-led grants, and innovative accelerator programs, HPE Gives empowers team members to get involved in high-impact community support. For Example: HPE Gives in Singapore: Ambulance Wish Singapore, National Library Board Tech Bazaar and Silver Homes Projects. In FY23, nearly 350 team members in Singapore participated in HPE Gives, tracking more than 1,300 volunteer hours and donating nearly $85K (USD- including matching and rewards), positively impacting over 130 nonprofit organizations. This strategic focus on social impact, aligned with HPE’s corporate purpose strategy, resulted in 44% of volunteer hours directly benefiting healthcare, community resiliency, human rights, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Cognizant is pivoting towards Purpose through enhanced core business offerings that improve everyday life for people and planet, through inclusion in tech and community impact.

Through Cognizant Outreach, our employees share their time, talent and technology through volunteer work, to empower local communities and increase the use of technology for good. We actively seek collaborations with partners to support inclusion in tech and better support the community in-demand skillsets, widening the range of stakeholder to support our goal, given we are an organization that is product-agnostic.

Cognizant social impact programs support school students and teachers on STEM, youths and persons with disabilities to thrive in the tech and tech-enabled economy. We support non-profits to leverage technology to improve their impact footprint. Through these efforts, we were able to influence STEM Education in schools, career readiness among youths, improving employability of Persons with Disabilities and empowering non-profits with digital skills. The outcomes from the programs serve critical community needs delivering on the Social Purpose, while also enabling reputational and business outcomes for Cognizant.

We are focused on creating better outcomes for elderlies, low-income families and persons with disabilities through skills-based or hands-on volunteering program that addresses climate action, promotes diversity, equality and inclusiveness and accelerate digital equity, so as to build a resilient and equitable Singapore, where nobody gets left behind, while fostering community and volunteerism spirit among our employees.

Last year, over 1,000 employees contributed to more than 12,000 volunteering hours and more than 50 NGOs have benefitted from our volunteering activities.

Our CSR program is well supported by senior management and is run by two employee-led teams, the Wellbeing and Culture Ambassador teams. The focus is on creating social impact for our beneficiaries while simultaneously building employee engagement, and fostering a more conducive working environment for care, creativity, and collaboration.

In 2023, APAC employees, as a group, participated in “Ants March”, with employees walking regularly and accumulating steps to achieve the highest count, so that we could donate to two beneficiary organizations; one that worked with at-risk youth and the second that provided shelter to abandoned elders.

In partnership with the Singapore Association of The Visually Handicapped, we schedule regular employee massage days. In addition to contributing to the employment of visually handicapped masseurs, this activity fosters empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives from the stories shared by the therapists.

BNY Mellon made a $20 million philanthropic commitment in 2020 to prepare the workforce of the future by creating equitable career pathways in business, technology and STEM fields for young people from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds. In 2023, this commitment was successfully fulfilled. Our monitoring efforts reveal significant impact with funding directly contributing to the achievement of key milestones expected to appear in the 2023 Sustainability Report. Our strategic engagements in Singapore have encompassed our work with Aidha, a charitable organisation dedicated to empowering migrant domestic workers through financial literacy and entrepreneurship programmes. Through extensive long and short course offerings, our collaboration with Aidha has played a pivotal role in facilitating economic security for these marginalized communities.

BNY Mellon has also collaborated strategically with Junior Achievement Singapore, through the implementation of the Be Entrepreneurial programme. This initiative focuses on equipping high school students with essential work-readiness skills thereby building a more inclusive and dynamic workforce for the future.

Our CSR program is framed within BD’s broader ESG strategy, which embraces the interdependence between company health, planet health, community health and human health. We focus on advancing health equity, enabling healthy communities, and collaborating with communities to invest our resources to do what is right. This strategy is, in turn, aligned with UN SDGs.

BD works to establish long term partnerships with selected beneficiary organizations. Our selection criteria include size and existing resourcing, favoring an approach where our support truly makes a difference. Accordingly, our beneficiaries are organizations that are relatively smaller in size and without fixed corporate sponsors.

A core element is active participation from employees. Achievements in 2023 include a Secret Santa Program for Children’s Aid Society for the 6th year running, fundraising for CAS and Singapore Cancer Society, and participating in awareness running events with SCS and SPD. Altogether, we involved more than 200 staff and had lots of fun!

We’ve held a charity ball for 88 years and our 2023 GWB raised $30k for Kidz Horizon Appeal and the 2024 GWB raised $40k for Over-the-Rainbow.

Our charity golf tournament has been running for 75+ years. Our 2023 golf tournament raised $7500 for =DREAMS. The 2024 tournament is coming up.

In addition to big events, we also organize many smaller events such as Shoeboxes for Sailors with the Navy and SAIS and a neighbourhood cleanup with SAIS, as well.

Every year, we collect food for Food from the Heart at our Thanksgiving event, an event we co-organize with AWA.

Toys for Tots is coordinated through AAS and we work with American schools and businesses throughout Singapore to gather toys culminating in a massive party where we gather yet more toys. The toys were then sent to children at the Ronald McDonald House.

We also offer monthly volunteer opportunities at ACRES for our members.

In 2023, we hosted a cooking class to raise funds for victims of the earthquake in Turkey.

We also conduct talks throughout the year such as a talk about online dangers coordinated with the US Department of Homeland Security and SAS counselors.

The list goes on and on… we work hard throughout the year to offer our members and opportunity to give back to our community.

Our commitment to CSR includes three main pillars A&G for Climate Change, A&G in the Community, and A&G on Campus. This comprehensive approach ensures that our initiatives cover environmental sustainability, community well-being, and supporting the growth of SG’s legal industry. Every lawyer is dedicating to at least 24 hrs annually to volunteer work, community service programmes or pro bono work such as contributing to charities like Asia Philanthropy Circle Ltd, MINDS, & Stroke Support Stations. We actively participate in Legal Clinics, aiding those in need and taking on cases through the Law Society’s Criminal Legal Aid Scheme & Legal Aid Bureau. Recognised for our pro bono work, A&G has received accolades such as Corporate Citizenship Law Firm of the Year at the Asian Legal Business SE Asia Awards 2020 and a five-star rating in The Straits Times survey on law firms’ pro bono contributions. Initiatives extends to legal education, with a $1 million pledge for scholarships and curriculum development to universities as well. Beyond legal aid, A&G was the sponsor of The Legal 500’s first South-east Asia-based Global Green Guide event– the Green Summit Singapore, that aims to foster engagement in green transition and sustainability.

Science Centre Singapore (SCS) received a GlobalGiving education grant of USD $50,000 made in partnership with 3M for the ‘Girls Can Tinker’ program’ in 2021. The program was launched in April 2022. The workshops under the program were conducted from 2022-July 2023.

State Street Foundation makes grants to nonprofits and non-governmental organizations, with a focus on creating lasting economic benefits in the communities where we live and work.

State Street Volunteers encourages employees to strengthen their communities. We offer employees four paid volunteer days every year and provide guidance on how to engage with our communities.

Our extensive CSR program, Proudly PGSG, is an employee ground up approach, that uplift and upskill lives through Community Impact, Equality & Inclusion (E&I) and Sustainability. Since 2022, these are the following initiatives that we have done:

Moderna Biotech Singapore’s mission extends beyond pioneering healthcare solutions; it’s about nurturing the community that sustains us. Our CSR program, particularly during the Moderna Gives Back Volunteer Week, reflects this ethos, creating a lasting impact through active engagement and compassion.

In partnership with NTUC Health Active Ageing Centre, we had the privilege of organizing a series of vibrant activities for the seniors at Taman Jurong. Our multifaceted program included group exercises to promote physical health, interactive music sessions featuring hits from BTS and Queen to uplift spirits, and creative cupcake decorating to spark joy and creativity. These activities culminated in a shared celebration of our 1-year anniversary in Singapore, aligning our milestone with the birthdays of the seniors we were honored to spend time with.

Since 2018, Herbalife has been partnering with a local non-profit organization – Children’s Wishing Well (CWW), in helping children and youths live healthily and have access to good nutrition by participating in two programs – Fresh gRoceries in Every Student’s Home (FRESH) and Hot Lunch.

Under the FRESH Program, each child will be given a budget of S$50, in the form of supermarket vouchers. Volunteers will then be paired up with the children and conduct a pre-session activity which includes planning their budget based on the respective grocery category. Each child has to purchase at least 2 protein, 2 vegetables and 2 fruits. Thereafter can they purchase other household items with the remaining budget. Through this program, the children will learn about nutrition, budgeting, prioritizing and decision-making – skills which will have a broader, long-term impact on their lives.

During COVID-19, CWW has also started a new program – Hot Lunch. Many low-income families with children were greatly affected by the pandemic, such as reduced income or loss of employment. CWW has extended their help to as many children as possible during this challenging period by providing cooked lunch. This is to ensure that no disadvantaged child goes hungry, and they have at least one healthy meal each day. Now that we have moved on to endemic, this program is still active to ensure the needy children have access to warm, nutritious meals daily.

Haskell has long been committed to philanthropy, community engagement, and altruism. Our team members actively engage in civic activities, serving as leaders and advocates for various acts of service. Through our corporate giving initiatives, we blend financial donations with volunteer work, autonomously and in partnership with other entities.

The Singapore team extends its efforts by distributing care packages to the MWC Recreation Club for our migrant worker colleagues. Additionally, they generously volunteer their time to organizations such as Willing Hearts and Yong-en Care Centre.

Through Meta’s family of apps, we give people and businesses the opportunity to connect and grow in meaningful ways to support Singapore’s goals and leadership for innovation and inclusive economic growth.

In 2023, Meta partnered with 5 local partners, including SG Tech, Mums@work, SMCCI, SCCI, and RaISE, and supported 70 SMBs through our Upskill with Meta mentorship program. Additionally, through our Software Engineering Professional Certificate program, we partnered with IMDA to provide 200 scholarships for Singaporean learners. Finally, Meta’s Immersive Learning Academy benefited 225 students with Spark AR Bootcamp training, in collaboration with IMDA.

Furthermore, we continued our investments in digital literacy for youth. In 2023, we launched a new online youth safety and wellbeing program, which educates teens on how to take ownership of their social media experience, gain knowledge and understanding of online harms, and preventative/safety tools. The program was designed in consultation with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education, TOUCH, NUS, MCI and IMDA. The program will be rolled out across 10 schools in Singapore in 2024, targeting to reach 15,000 students. The program was showcased at IMDA’s Digital for Life Festival to 100,000 visitors, where Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Kiat and Minister for Communications and Information Josephine Teo visited and praised the program initiative.

2023 was action-packed for Hasbro in Singapore, with every office member working with at least one of three organizations to make good on our purpose of creating joy and community for all people around the world, one game, one toy, one story at a time.

With LOVE, NILS!, we organized a family day out for kids fighting cancer at Game On! in partnership with the Changi Airport Group. For one special morning, we opened our life-sized Hasbro games exclusively for these kids to enjoy, plus a movie screening, and appearance by Mr. Monopoly himself! We also hosted 26 families to watch Peppa Pig Live!, followed by a meet and greet open only to ensure a more protected setting due to suppressed immune systems. In Q4 Hasbro volunteers also helped with packing and delivery of art kits / toys once a month for child cancer patients in hospital or quarantined at home.

With the Rainbow Centre, Hasbro co-organized a carnival for kids with disabilities in their Out-Of-School-Hours (OOSH) program. The entire Hasbro Singapore office organized an action-packed carnival with face painting, a bouncy castle, games stalls, surprise character visits, magic show, and goodie bags for every child.

Finally, we worked with Parkway East Hospital to donate beloved board games like Monopoly, Jenga, Battleship, and The Game of Life among others to the ewly opened Parkway East Paediatric Urgent Care Centre, dedicated to addressing the urgent medical needs of children and adolescents up to the age of 14.

Over the past year, Gensler has focused efforts in our communities into four overarching themes: the Next Generation, Housing and Homelessness, Health and Wellness, and the Environment. Through the Gensler Model for Community Impact, our colleagues are empowered to align their professional skills with community-based initiatives, resulting in a far greater chance of having a tangible, positive impact in our communities.

Specifically in the Gensler Singapore Office, we focused on the themes “Housing & Homelessness” and “Health and Wellness” over the past year. We partnered with many non-profit organizations such as Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH), Helping Joy Limited, Lighthouse Club and HealthServe.

Gensler’s donation and involvement in the goodie bag distribution at Chai Chee Road was a collaborative effort that brought together not only our Gensler colleagues but also our extended network of family and friends. The initiative aimed to bring joy and support to the residents of Chai Chee Road.

IBM lives its purpose of being a catalyst that makes the world work better, creating impactful solutions to the Environmental, Social, and Governance challenges that face companies and society. IBM’s social impact programs aim to address complex societal challenges by utilizing our technologies and our greatest strength, our employees. Our priority areas are:

Education & Skills – IBM SkillsBuild is free education program that provides valuable skills and career opportunities to traditionally underrepresented communities in technology. The program includes an online platform that is complemented by customized practical learning experiences delivered in collaboration with a global network of partners.

IBM Giving and Volunteering – IBM Volunteers leverages the collective power of people and resources to ensure meaningful impact worldwide. The program supports active and retired IBMers who donate their time and talents to academia, grassroots initiatives, and organizations helping to build our communities—and their efforts qualify for IBM grants to the eligible organizations they support.

Sustainbility – IBM Sustainability Accelerator program launched in 2022 – a pro bono social impact program that applies IBM technologies, such as hybrid cloud and AI, and expertise to enhance and scale nonprofit and government organization solutions, helping populations especially vulnerable to environmental threats.

FMC has implemented several impactful CSR initiatives to drive positive change and uplift communities across Asia.

One example is STRIDE (Smallholder Transformation Initiative for Development & Education), aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger. In 2023, STRIDE benefitted 11,000 smallholder farmers in India, Philippines and Pakistan boosting yields of crops like Rice, Tomato and Cotton. By 2025, STRIDE will aid income growth and enhance quality of life for more than 70,000 smallholder farmers across Asia.

Another ongoing signature project is Project Samarth, a water safety initiative which provides access to safe and potable drinking water to 200,000 rural farming households via 60 water filtration plants across 6 states in India. In Indonesia, we supported 300 families in drought-affected areas of Central Java in 2023.

To foster DEI and cultivate female talent in agronomic sciences, FMC supports various programs in Asia, including engaging students in STEM (ASEAN, India, Pakistan), providing leadership programs (China and Australia), and providing internships (ASEAN, India, North Asia).

In India’s Uttarakand Province, Project Madhushakti was launched in 2022 to develop entrepreneurship among rural women through beekeeping, to generate sustainable income for their families and raise their living standard.

Google.org brings the best of Google to help solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges combining funding, in-kind products and technical expertise to support underserved communities and provide oppy. for everyone. We engage nonprofits, social enterprises and civic entities who make a significant impact on the communities they represent, and whose work has the potential to produce meaningful change.

In APAC, we’re focused on helping nonprofits solve issues around sustainability, economic opportunity and digital education. We’re supporting Mandai Nature with nature-based solutions in SEA, as well as AVPN to run a 2nd round of the Sustainability Seed fund with USD5M to help nonprofits scale-up innovative tech solutions that address pressing environmental challenges. The inaugural Fund awarded USD3M to 13 grantees that proposed new approaches to tackling climate change. Amid economic uncertainty, we’re supporting The Asia Foundation to help SMEs and job seekers gain access to opps. and expertise. Phase 1 of Go Digital ASEAN trained 225K individuals in APAC, 60% women. Phase 2 will provide more advanced training for up to 200K underserved MSMEs. We’re also helping ASEAN Foundation upskill underserved groups inc. ppl. with-disabilities, elderly, youth to stay safe online. Through a $15M fund, Google.org is supporting The Asia Foundation to launch the APAC Cyber Security Fund in 13 APAC markets to increase cyber capabilities from 300K SMEs, NPOs, and underserved social ventures.

In Singapore, Citi has five main activities:

1) Global Community Day. This is done globally every year by the company across the month of June. Last year, Singapore was the top markets in Asia, in terms of volunteering opportunities and participation.

2) Company wide fundraiser. Last year, we raised more than S$ 455,000 for ChildAid, a charity concert in aid of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund. This is the eighth consecutive year that Citi staff have contributed more than S$140,000 through the Citi Supports ChildAid fundraiser. The event was not able to be part of giving week, due to the timelines.

3) Corporate Volunteerism Pilot with Touch Community Services. Citi launched, Project V – a national-level pilot to strengthen corporate volunteerism in Singapore. In collaboration with Touch, Citi contributed almost 800 volunteers achieving more than 2600 volunteering hours in monthly recurring volunteering opportunities such as mobility training, children mentors, medical escorts and meal distribution.

4) Youth Co:Lab Singapore. Founded by UNDP and the Citi Foundation, this program brings together youths to solve the challenges of achieving the UN SDGs.

5) Other grants programs. Citi funds programs such as the United Women’s Singapore STEM First Fintech program and the Singapore Management University’s (SMU) Lien Centre for Social Innovation (LCSI) was awarded the inaugural Global Innovation Challenge grant last year.

Our approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) at Fiserv reflects our global presence, and is embedded in how we innovate, operate and deliver products and services to our clients every day.

We invest in sustainable systems and focus on minimizing the impact of our operations on the environment. We create a work culture that is supportive, inclusive and innovative. We use our platform to do good – our platform and global reach can create lasting change in the local communities in which we operate. Giving back to the communities where we live and work is core to who we are at Fiserv.

Some past year’s key activities include but not limited to:

– Raising recycling awareness by setting up of recycling stations and posters

– Beach clean-up

– Volunteering at Willing Hearts’ Soup Kitchen

– Secondary School Work Exposure Program where students are provided opportunity to experience the working world.

– The Season of Giving is a global initiative where Fiserv dedicates the festive period to strengthen our spirit of giving back. Employees participated in Food Bank Singapore and ItsRainingRaincoats activities.

Since our founding in 1973, FedEx has remained committed to supporting communities by investing our time, resources, and network. Our global community engagement program, FedEx Cares, enables employees to fulfill our purpose of connecting people, possibilities.

In Singapore, we foster employee volunteerism by partnering with NGOs, facilitating diverse activities for meaningful contributions and engaging experiences. In 2023, 4 CSR activities involved 131 FedEx volunteers, contributing over 278 hours:

– Apr 2023 Tree-planting: Collaborated The Arbor Day Foundation & Garden City Fund, 80 trees planted by volunteers.

– Apr to Jun 2023, FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge: The 2023 program engaged 397 students in workshops to enhance global their knowledge in global trade and crafting of marketing entry strategies. Guided by FedEx volunteers, students conceptualized sustainable alternatives for a single-use product for the South African market.

– Jul to Oct 2023, Excursions for the elderly: Partnering with the Salvation Army Peacehaven, lifestyle excursions were arranged for 170+ seniors. FedEx sponsored over 130 admission tickets to attractions, with volunteers accompanying beneficiaries to River Wonders & Bird Paradise.

– Dec 2023, Purple Totes Campaign: Collaborating with Club Rainbow, employees donated essential items to young beneficiaries. Also, 50 new books were donated to Club Rainbow’s library for educational purposes.

Adecco’s flagship programs include CEO for One Month and Win4Youth. CEO for One Month supports unemployment, providing unique career experience for fresh grads and those in the early stages of their career where we receive around 200,000 applicants annually. Through Win4Youth, employees and our networks complete sporting or mental wellness activities, clocking hours which are converted to funds. Most recently, Adecco prepared ‘Back to School Kits’, for Children’s Wishing Well and were part of SG Cares Giving Week, a national movement organized by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, in collaboration with SG Cares Office and National Council of Social Service.

Edwards Lifesciences Singapore (ELS) CSR program is ingrained into the Edwards culture & is aligned with a Patients First mentality.

We partnered with the Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) & held the annual Go Red for Women campaign. This exercise focuses on women & cardiovascular diseases. The 2024 campaign was launched in Feb with a fundraiser, merchandise sales & a blood pressure talk. The event was a huge success and raised almost $14,000 cash for SHF.

Separately, ELS in collaboration with our Environmental, Health and Safety team, organized a Beach Clean Up event on 17th June 2023 at Pasir Ris Beach. The 60 participants from Singapore and Malaysia turned up and cleared plastic waste and debris within a 6.6km shoreline on a bright sunny day. Almost 70kg of trash was collected, restoring the beach to a pristine condition before the event concluded.

Our commitment to charity also focuses on underprivileged children. As such, we launched a Toys & Cash Donation Drive supporting the Food from The Heart “Toy Buffet 2023”. The 3-day drive was a success, with over 1400 employees offering cash and recycled toys. A total of SGD 7000 was received, on top of pre-loved toys. On 10 Nov 2023, the team distributed toys to over 2,000 children from lower income families.

ELS continues to maintain a strong corporate responsibility within Singapore as well as the region, with our secret sauce ethos driving community support and contribution to new levels.

Jennifer Cho

Vice President & Managing Director

Jennifer Cho is the Vice President & Managing Director of the Island Southeast Asia sub-region. This comprises 12 countries and territories - Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Guam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Philippines, Saipan, Singapore and Sri Lanka.

Jennifer joined Medtronic in 2010 and has held various progressive roles in the organization. She relocated to Singapore in 2015 as RTG (Restorative Therapies Group) Marketing Director, SEA, and subsequently held the role of Business Director for RTG SEA, VP and MD for SEA Country Cluster 1 (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei) and VP and MD for Singapore and Malaysia.

Under her leadership, Singapore and Malaysia has shown strong growth for two consecutive years, including an impressive double-digit growth in the recent year. She is also a two-time winner for APAC President's Club award in FY17 and FY18.

As the Island Southeast Asia sub-region leader, Jennifer is responsible for ensuring the countries develop local capabilities and invest to achieve greater results and better outcomes. With her leadership, the teams were able to expand medical access to more patients in these countries.

Jennifer has a strong track record in the healthcare industry - both in pharmaceutical and medical technology. Prior to joining Medtronic, Jennifer held roles of increasing responsibility in various multinational companies, including Novo Nordisk, Johnson & Johnson and Tyco (former Covidien) Healthcare.
Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Dongkuk University, Korea, and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
