Every year, the Singapore Ministry of Finance (MOF) begins the Budget process by soliciting public input. This process occurs a few months prior to Budget day in order to ensure that public consultation is robust for the next financial year’s Budget.

 

Earlier this year, Co-Chairs of AmCham’s Financial Services Committee hosted a roundtable discussion to discuss AmCham’s input for the Singapore Budget 2020. We are pleased to announce the paper has just been submitted to MOF, and focuses on the following themes: i) innovation, ii) education, training and lifelong learning, iii) volunteerism and philanthropy, iv) fiscal sustainability, and v) healthcare. The Budget is set to be released in February 2020.
