About AmCham Women HERo Awards
The HERo Award was conceptualized in 2018 by the AmCham Women Taskforce Co-chairs. The winners were recognized by Minister Grace Fu, Ministry of Community, Culture & Youth, at the HERo Awards Gala Dinner on March 27th, 2010. The objective of the HERo Awards is to recognize the significant efforts made by both individuals and organizations towards the advancement of gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
HERo Award Categories
Entrepreneur Category for Outstanding Achievement for Gender Inclusion: This award recognizes the progress and contributions made by small-medium enterprise toward building a more gender diverse and equitable working space in Singapore.
2019 Winner: Healint
Enterprise Category for Gender Inclusion in Gold, Silver and Bronze: This award recognizes the leadership efforts and contributions made by multi-national corporations toward building a more gender inclusive environment across the company.
2019 Gold Winner: Wells Fargo Bank
2019 Silver Winner: P&G
2019 Bronze Winner: ADP
Male Champion of the Year: This award recognizes a male leader who has taken significant and visible steps to advance women in leadership in the workplace.
2019 Winner: Magesvaran Suranjan, P&G
Trailblazer of the Year: This award recognizes a female or male who has driven significant and systemic change in their organization to increase the representation of women in leadership and across the organization.
2019 Winner: Seina Lee, J&J
Lifetime Achievement of the Year: This award recognizes a female leader who has dedicated her efforts to advancing women in the workplace. This individual has made outstanding contributions over the whole of her career and has generated greater economic and workplace equality through equal access to employment and leadership opportunities for women in Singapore.
