Science Centre Singapore (SCS) received a GlobalGiving education grant of USD $50,000 made in partnership with 3M for the āGirls Can Tinkerā programā in 2021. The program was launched in April 2022. The workshops under the program were conducted from 2022-July 2023.

– UWSx3M STEM Workshop, United Women Singapore (18 August 2023) – 30 students
– POWERS Career Event for Female STEM Students (28 September) – Students from NTU
– SST-3M InnoScience Challenge, SST (20 to 24 October 2023) – 230 students
– United Women Singapore STEM Fest (4 Nov 2023) – 307 female students

In addition, 3M Singapore has contributed a significant amount of voluntary hours in various community engagements aimed at assisting needy families and other vulnerable groups in society. A few examples are:

– Dignity Mama (25th July 2023), skills training for young adults with special needs
