Since 2020, Roche and Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) have collaborated on the Return To Work (RTW) programme that helps cancer survivors assess their readiness for reemployment and rehabilitate them to meet demands of vocational roles and find jobs. Over the years, the programme has enrolled nearly 130 survivors with many of them successfully returned to work, and also developed a Cancer Inclusive Guide to support employers with implementation of a cancer-friendly work environment.
Roche has also been recognized for its contributions to the Community Chest SHARE workplace giving programme since 2018. Roche helps employees who want to donate to do so via a monthly deduction from the payroll, which the company then matches on a dollar-to-dollar basis. This year, Roche became a Platinum awardee for its strong participation in this programme.
Finally, for the last 11 years, the signature Roche Children’s Walk has been held in Singapore, a fundraising event where employees walk 5km in recognition of the distance many children around the world still have to walk to get to school. This year, Roche Singapore raised nearly S$59,000 through the event for its beneficiaries, the Children’s Cancer Society and the Roche Employee Action and Charity Trust (Re&Act).

Some of our programmes include Groceries Bags Distributions, Bursaries, Community Fridge as well as Pop-up Grocery @ Tampines Changkat.
Pop-up Grocery @ Tampines Changkat is a collaboration between Tampines Changkat CCC CDWF and various organisations to provide less privileged families at Tampines Changkat with more groceries and household support in a bid to prevent food wastage. Tampines Changkat CCC CDWF is heartened to forge partnerships with various partners to meet the challenges ahead as one people and we see more organizations coming forward to contribute in any way they can. Pop-up Grocery is set up to provide groceries for at least 100 beneficiaries including home deliveries made for immobile seniors.
