Global Entry (GE) is a CBP program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States.

GE membership is also a prerequisite to the U.S. APEC Business Traveler Card (ABTC). The U.S. ABTC will enable access to a dedicated fast-track lane for expedited immigration processing at participating foreign APEC member airports.

How to Apply for GE and U.S. ABTC:
1. Create a Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) account here.

2. Log in to your TTP account and complete the application. A $100USD non-refundable fee is required for a completed GE application and if you wish to apply for ABTC simultaneously, it will be an additional $70USD non-refundable fee.

3. After accepting your completed application and fee, CBP will review your application. CBP officers will review your information and conduct a background check. If your application is conditionally approved, then your TTP account will instruct you to schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. Each applicant must schedule a separate interview. A minor applicant must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.

4. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is providing GE and ABTC interviews as an accommodation at the U.S. Embassy Singapore. All conditionally approved applicants must schedule their interview appointments online through their TTP dashboard here. The appointment location is listed as Singapore (Singapore, U.S. Embassy) and currently offers interview appointment slots on Wednesday afternoons from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. Walk-ins are not allowed.

Alternatively, CBP offers in-person interviews at TTP enrollment centers located in the U.S. or Enrollment on Arrival, which CBP now offers to arriving international passengers at 65 airports. Applicants must observe local COVID-19 health and safety guidelines when completing in-person enrollment interviews in the U.S. or in the U.S. Embassy Singapore.

CBP has launched a remote interview pilot for renewing Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) members. This pilot enables eligible TTP members to complete enrollment renewal interviews with a CBP Officer through video teleconferencing, while ensuring that the remote interview process maintains high security and privacy standards. Some renewing Global Entry members who are conditionally approved are eligible to participate in the pilot. First-time TTP applicants are not yet eligible to participate. Please note, the remote interview pilot is currently not available at Singapore, U.S. Embassy. For information, please visit here.
