AmCham Singapore aims to raise awareness of corporate social responsibility (CSR) among members as one of the most active business chambers in Singapore. The AmCham CARES program recognizes member companies in Singapore that have demonstrated a strong understanding of the link between responsible business operations and positive societal impact, and that conduct business in a way that creates both long-term economic and social value for Singapore.

A platform to benchmark and share best practices, AmCham CARES encourages member companies to improve their current CSR programs. These programs are assessed on four main factors – communications, measurement, strategy, and sustainability.

In recent years, we were honored to host Mdm Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore, and Minister Ong Ye Kung, Ministry of Health, as the guests-of-honor to recognize the AmCham CARES Awards recipients during our Annual General Meeting. To date, we have awarded over 200 certificates of recognition to AmCham member companies for their outstanding corporate citizenship.
