AmCham Women, launched in April 2018, is the Chamber’s primary platform to advance gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace. AmCham Singapore believes that empowering women for economic inclusion fuels thriving economies in Singapore and the region, and spurs social development and sustainable economic growth. Our mission is to advance gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace through signature events, programs, research & publications, and strategic collaborations with like-minded organizations.

AmCham Women conducted a survey for the period of September 13 to October 31, 2018 to gather candid feedback from member organizations to understand what additional support is needed to assist AmCham members with their Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) journey, with a view to providing consolidated and relevant support resources. There were a total of 184 responses from 114 organizations, submitted by individuals from 121 different job positions. The results of this survey will help shape AmCham’s programming for AmCham Women. View and download: 2018 AmCham Women Gender Diversity & Inclusion Survey Results.

AmCham Women has also developed an Insights Report based on the results of this survey, which provides a snapshot of the D&I initiatives and practices within member companies. These include employee resource groups, the presence of dedicated D&I leaders, and diversity training opportunities, among others. The report also highlights what remains to be done to promote D&I in the workplace and offers practical next steps.
